25 Sep “Happy Birth-Day”:
Our Creative Vision
The second most important thing was the logo. For this, I went to my oldest friend and my favorite artist- @kishmishaima. I wanted the logo to once again translate the vision of Happy Birth-Day with just a look. The minute I laid my eyes on this one, I knew I wouldn’t really be changing my mind about it, and I can’t thank her enough for it.. It spoke to me of everything in the way that I envision. It spoke to me:
- of the womb, one that is held and supported with other, trusting hands
- of a calm and serene place for the owner of the womb, which the colors brought about for me beautifully
- of a beautiful baby
- of the beautiful bonding between the mother and the baby as the baby is held to her chest
- of a secure circle of trust within which all of these elements could be brought alive to thrive
We often focus on only one of the two in pregnancy and childbirth. At Happy Birth-Day, the story belongs as much to the baby whether they are in or outside the womb, as it does to the mother while she’s carrying or caring for her baby after birth.
